The industrial visit to the Tillari Hydroelectric Power Plant was an informative and educational experience for students to understand the practical working of hydroelectric power generation. The plant is located on the Tillari River near the Maharashtra–Goa border and is an important renewable energy project developed by the Government of Maharashtra. The hydroelectric project has an installed capacity of about 60 MW and was commissioned in 1986.
